For this reason we want to invite you to be a part of our weekly FOCUS Groups where you will be Encouraged in your faith, Participate in genuine Christian Community, and Intentionally Grow with others. We invite you to join us and walk this road with a God who cares about you.

Significance of FOCUS
Paul encouraged the Christians in Rome to follow Christ with a spirit of unity when he said, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 15:5-6). Our hope
is that FOCUS groups will do the same.

Followers – We are followers of Christ, walking in His footsteps (1 John. 2:6).
Of – Webster’s defines “of” as “belonging to,” and as Christians we belong to Christ (Romans 1:6).
Christ – Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God (Mathew 16:16).
United in – We are united in Christ together (Philippians 2:1-5).
Spirit – The spirit of God lives in us (1 John 4:13).

Curriculum & Agenda
At BCC our FOCUS Group Leaders get to choose from a variety of curriculum options that connect what God says to what we go on to do. Although every group is different, here is a basic FOCUS Group agenda:
- Greeting & Introductions (10-15 min.)
- Prayer and/or song (5 min.)
- Ice Breaker (10 min.)
- God says...what do we do now??? (25-30 min.)
- Refreshments (30+ min.)
