Cornerstone Single's Group
Tonight at 7:30pm the Cornerstone Singles group will meet. The "Cornerstone" group is a group designed just for singles! In today's world it is often difficult to find other Christian friends to hang out with and share your faith with, especially if you are single. New "On Becoming Holy" Series!
Today begins our new series entitled "On Becoming Holy" from the NT books of 1st & 2nd Peter. In this series we will strive to add to our faith together the qualities Peter spoke of in his letters to the Christians of his time. The topics for this series include; "Crave Pure Spiritual Milk" (1Pet.2:2), "Be Self-Controlled" (1 Peter 3:10-11; 2 Peter 4:7), "Be An Excellent Spouse" (1 Peter 3:1-7), "Love Each Other Deeply" (1 Peter 4:8), and "Put Your Hope in God" (1 Peter 4:13). Please join us this Sunday as we strive to increase our faith in God by increasing our knowledge of Him all throughout the month of August!

Today at 10am the Moms FOCUS Group will meet at the home of Rachel Penick. Mom's everywhere need other moms to connect with. Even more importantly, Christian mom's need other Christian mom's to connect with to discuss the struggles only mothers experience. You are invited to join this bi-weekly mom's group designed to encourage your walk with God and build your skills as a mother. In preparation for school starting again, BCC is working with Tools 4 Schools, the Kids Division of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, which runs a free supply warehouse where teachers of low-income students can go to shop when the school season starts again. Tools 4 Schools gave us a list of "most-needed supplies" including copy paper, bookbags, notebooks & binders. On Sunday August 24th and Sunday August 31st we are asking everyone to collect these "most-needed supplies" and bring them to church services. We will then deliver what we gather the following week just in time for school start-up. Tools 4 Schools can also use volunteers to help unpack supplies at the Tools 4 Schools Resource Center. Those interested in volunteering can contact the Tools 4 Schools office of Volunteer Services at volunteer@njfoodbank.org or 908-355-3663. Let's "love our neighbor as ourselves" (Mark 12:31) by donating what we can to help our surrounding low-income neighborhoods.
