2/7-3/7: "5 Languages of Apology" Teaching Series
The scriptures say, "If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men" (Romans 12:18). As with most of the word of God, it is easy to read but hard to put into practice. How do we live "peaceably" with our friends, co-workers and spouse when they repeatedly hurt us?
Many times relationships remain in conflict because although an apology has been offered, it was not received as sincere. Sometimes "I'm sorry" is all that is needed to mend relationships. Other times "I'm sorry" just won't cut it. How about when a co-worker's actions cause you to lose your job? What is an appropriate apology for that? You can be sure "I'm sorry" won't cut it.
So how many ways are there to say “I’m sorry? "Well it
depends on your language of apology. Just as you have a different love language, you also hear and
express the words and gestures of apology in a different language."
Join us in February as we address some practical ways to restore relationships by learning to speak another's apology language.

Donate to Haiti Disaster Response
In response to the Haiti earthquake disaster BCC has chosen to donate to and collect funds for Healing Hands International . HHI "serves to save lives and relieve suffering through the distribution of humanitarian aid in order to bring hope to all people." more about HHI
An HHI assessment team will arrive in Haiti this coming Saturday (1/16) to be followed by a second assessment team in approximately one week. HHI has already wired down money to several areas to purchase what food is available outside the disaster area and then shipped into the worst locations.
